Dr. Dechard gave me my tummy tuck a year ago this month (+ liposuction), and it has been absolutely life changing! Let me just say that Dr. Michael Decherd and his staff are absolutely amazing! I had my Abdominoplasty and Brachioplasty/Liposuction of the arms done on November 3, 2022 and I am extremely happy with my results. I'm so happy to be writing this review because my results are far better than I was imagining. I scheduled a consult last December with the PA to sort of fast track things and saw the Dr in February and surgery the beginning of May. I had my old implants removed and replaced, breast revision, and lipo of chin and arms and I couldnt be any more thrilled with the results. I changed my mind several times about the size of implants (afraid of going too big) but the office never made me feel like I was a bother or high maintenance-- everyone, Dr. included, was very patient and informative. Everything from the initial scheduling to payment to surgery and post op care was easy breezy. The OR girls are so fun and sweet as can be and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Dr. Decherd is on his A game and makes it all look easy even when its not. I had a few other consults with surgeons and knew before I left My consult with the Dr I'd be scheduling with him- it just felt right. I researched extensively, and I suggest everyone do that, but can also confidently recommend Dr. D and his staff. This wasn't my first rodeo but it was my best :) More

I scheduled a consult last December with the PA to sort of fast track things and saw the Dr in February and surgery the beginning of May. I had my old implants removed and replaced, breast revision, and lipo of chin and arms and I couldnt be any more thrilled with the results. Dr. Decherd amazingly fixed my problem that another well-known plastic surgeon in San Antonio botched on my hips/saddlebags. I wish I had known of Dr. Decherd and done more research way before I got misled by, Dr. A's reviews. Dr. A. had the audacity of wanting to charge me for his screw up AND wanted to do a thigh lift in the process, which I definitely do not need....NO THANKS. Dr. A. never admitted fault, which it obviously was. Dr. Dechard's results blew me out of the water and he is far more down to earth than the other plastic surgeon that I made the mistake of going to. I will ALWAYS go to Dr. Decherd. I couldn't be happier. This is my 3 month post op before and after. Mommy make over with a full tummy tuck, lipo, breast lift and augmentation. More

34 yr old mommy makeover- breast lift, 350cc low profile aug, tummy tuck, lipo of inner and outer thighs - After having my daughter, no matter how much time I spent in the gym, there were just some body parts that were not going back so I opted for a full mommy makeover. It included tummy tuck with limited lipo, lipo of inner and outer thighs, breast lift, and breast augmentation (natrelle silicon low profile 350 cc). My biggest fear was choosing the right breast size! I wanted upper pole volume but not a ton of projection. It's rather rare for women to opt for low profile but they were perfect for my needs. So ladies if you have a decent amount of breast issue that needs to be lifted and your not looking for a massive size increase but upper fullness and better shape don't be afraid of the low profile! My after picture is just 4 days post op so there is obviously some swelling and my breasts are high but I can already tell I'm going to love the results! Dr Decherd and his staff have been beyond amazing and my after picture speaks volumes about his amazing work. Some tips, rent yourself a recliner lift chair and walker! the lift chair is a game changer! It's comfortable to sleep in and made getting in and out of bed so much easier. Have HELP, I had my mom, dad and husband with me, believe me you will need help for everything the first 3-4 days. The first 4 days are no joke mainly due to the side affects of anesthesia, but by day 5 I felt like I made the turn and have been backing off the major pain meds and the nausea is gone. I go in for my first post op in 3 days. I can't wait to see my results over the coming months!Updated on 31 Aug 2021:Updated on 14 Sep 2021:Extremely happy with my results! I can see my shape coming through more and more each week. I still am very swollen as you can tell by my side picture, but that’s a normal part of the process. The process is certainly a roller coaster of emotions but I know it will all be worth it in the end! More

Had a tummy tuck with lipo to the flanks. Dr. Decherd's staff is amazing! They were friendly and answered all my questions before and after surgery. Dr. Decherd himself created a masterpiece! I could not be happier with my results. I did find it interesting that he takes a very "back to basics" approach as far as prepping and healing from surgery. There were no pre-surgery labs done. In fact, I only met with him one time prior to surgery and that was at my consultation 2 months before the procedure. But, I called about a week before I went under and they answered all my questions/concerns about the upcoming surgery. As far as recovery, there were no supplements/massages/special binders recommended either. Basically, just wear a compression garment for 6 weeks and that was it. I am now 10 weeks post op and just had my final meeting with him. Everything looks amazing and has healed beautifully! You definitely need to do your research and know what you're getting into. I joined some social media groups that were very useful to help me know what questions to ask and what to expect, which was good because I got very little of this information from Dr. Decherd's office up front. Overall, I would say Dr. Decherd is a wonderful talented surgeon who will give you incredible results. But, it will be your responsibility to research the ins and outs of what to expect, because there isn't a lot of hand-holding from them! More

He did not make me feel like he was in a rush. His staff is the best -- they try to help you as quickly as they can. Dr. Dechard did a wonderful job on my tummy tuck w/ muscle repair, breast lift, and liposuction. I had lost over 100 pounds and after 29 years of being obese, my body just could not recover. My loose skin is gone and I can finally buy pretty underwear and clothes! No more frustration in dressing rooms and no more hiding parts of my body that I couldn't stand. Dr. Dechard's work is wonderful! My scar is barely noticeable around my areolas, and I am only 2.5 months out from surgery (Nov. 26th, 2018). My tummy tuck scar is so much better than I had imagined -- he really cares about how it will look. Compared to some scars I have seen online, Dr. Dechard's work is exquisite. Very friendly, I was always seen promptly, if I called with a question it was quickly answered. they let me try on different sizes. What also really helped in my decision making was the imaging system he has on site. Given the risk, expense, long term commitment to the whole process, I was having difficulty visualizing the breast aug and it was so hard to make a choice that way. Amazing experience - I am very pleased to say that I had breast augmentation and liposuction done by Dr. Decherd and it is hands down the best thing that I have ever done! Dr. Decherd is very friendly and personable, and made me feel right at ease. Dr. Decherd is a very personable doctor! I visited with many other plastic surgeons before I decided to have liposuction and botox performed by him. In short Dr. Dechard gave me my life back. Before having my daughter I was a very busy promotional model. Pregnancy left my body unsightly.
