I had an amazing experience with Dr. Decherd! He is truly so kind and an amazing artist! I have a genetic condition called Ehler Danlos that basically creates faulty connective tissue. As a result, I have had many health issues as well as lax skin. I had a pretty large gap between my abs, a hernia and a ton of extra skin. I had a mommy makeover (tummy tuck and breast lift) with Dr. Decherd. Best decision I have ever made for myself! After complex pregnancies and all my body has endured, I finally have my body back! Tummy tuck & muscle repair - waist has come in so much & I look curvy - I had a tummy tuck by Dr. Decherd last fall. Now that it's been 6 months and I see my final results I am even happier than I thought I would be. I waited for several months to see him for the initial consultation but it was worth it. He made me feel comfortable right away. I had been on two other consults before seeing him and I felt like he genuinely liked talking to me. Way different than the other doctors I had met with! The staff I met was super helpful and friendly. They were laid back and not stuffy which I liked. I liked that he told me confidently what he could do, but also listened to what I wanted. Had my surgery April 7th, felt very comfortable during my consultation and before going into surgery. Post-op, my tummy tuck incision never hurt just the normal back pain and discomfort with the drainages. My belly button looks great, get lots of compliments on it. Feeling and looking good. I got a tummy tuck and boob lift. I was very skeptical and nervous because I was approx 40lbs overweight on the day of my surgery. 2.5 months post op and I am amazed with my results. Dr Decherd has done amazing work, I am recovering from my mommy make over right now and even though I am not fully recovered yet I love love love my results. I had to wait for my consult but once I did I had a wonderful experience with the nurses, front staff and Dr Dechard. The day of my surgery the nurses had the best bedside manner and help me feel at ease, they were very clear on after care instructions to my husband. I could not recommend them enough! From the first consult Dr. Decherd and his staff gave me the assurance that I was in the right place and answered every question I could think of before and after my surgery. I had a tummy tuck which included muscle repair as well as some lipo to the flanks. My scar is super low, barely noticeable, and my belly button looks like I was born with it! My breast lift with implants look amazing and feel like my own. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my results! I’m so glad that I went with Dr. Decherd for my tummy tuck! I had consultations with other doctors and I honestly left feeling bummed. I'm super excited for the big surgery day to get here - I met with Dr. Decherd back in July 2021 for a consultation. I had previously met a couple other local surgeons and was excited to meet Dr. Decherd after extensive research. His before and after's were absolutely amazing and I was eager to meet him. When I arrived I felt welcomed and the nurse who brought me back was really nice and welcoming. I instantly felt comfortable. When Dr. Decherd walked in he explained everything to me and even drew a picture. I felt very informed and I didn't feel that way with the other provider I had meet. My Mommy make over (breast augmentation, tummy tuck and lipo) is scheduled for 11/15/2021 and I'm super excited. For my breast I have decided to go with 485 high profile silicone implants. This fits my chest size of 13 diameter (I think that's what I measured) which was a big concern for me as I don't want boobs that are to far apart and wanted to ensure the implants fit my chest size. For my tummy tuck the goal is to go as low as possible to hide scar and to get rid of as much stretch marks as possible. The first 4 days are no joke mainly due to the side affects of anesthesia, but by day 5 I felt like I made the turn and have been backing off the major pain meds and the nausea is gone. My son's ENT recommended Dr. Decherd for a septoplasty. Dr. Decherd answered all our questions and didn't charge us for the consult like some of the other offices did. Dr. Decherd also answered all my questions concerning all medical safety issues, which were big concerns for me. He also showed my son what his fixed nose would look like on a computer, which helped finalize the decision. A terrible experience with implant remove and replace after capsular contracture left me feeling deformed, regretful, and hopeless. Thank goodness a teary-eyed late night google search led me to a review that absolutely paralleled my situation. I left my first consultation with Dr. Decherd feeling slightly apprehensive since my trust in plastic surgeons had been completely shattered, but his patience, understanding, and sincere concern for my well-being encouraged me to move forward with a Capsulorrhaphy and I couldn’t be more pleased! If you’ve been told you have to settle with less than stellar results due to “bottoming out” or “aging skin”, don’t believe it. Had a tummy tuck with lipo to the flanks. Dr. Decherd's staff is amazing! They were friendly and answered all my questions before and after surgery. Dr. Decherd himself created a masterpiece! I could not be happier with my results. I did find it interesting that he takes a very "back to basics" approach as far as prepping and healing from surgery. There were no pre-surgery labs done. In fact, I only met with him one time prior to surgery and that was at my consultation 2 months before the procedure. But, I called about a week before I went under and they answered all my questions/concerns about the upcoming surgery. As far as recovery, there were no supplements/massages/special binders recommended either. Basically, just wear a compression garment for 6 weeks and that was it. I am now 10 weeks post op and just had my final meeting with him. Everything looks amazing and has healed beautifully! You definitely need to do your research and know what you're getting into. I joined some social media groups that were very useful to help me know what questions to ask and what to expect, which was good because I got very little of this information from Dr. Decherd's office up front. Overall, I would say Dr. Decherd is a wonderful talented surgeon who will give you incredible results. But, it will be your responsibility to research the ins and outs of what to expect, because there isn't a lot of hand-holding from them! More

I had cool sculpting with Kelly. I can't complement her enough. She talked to me about what to expect. She gave me a spa robe. She explained in detail exactly how cool sculpting worked and what results I could see. She measured my body and took before pictures. It's almost been a year now and I am so in love with them - I went to Dr. Decherd for my breast augmentation and am so happy how it turned out. A terrible experience with implant remove and replace after capsular contracture left me feeling deformed, regretful, and hopeless. Thank goodness a teary-eyed late night google search led me to a review that absolutely paralleled my situation. I left my first consultation with Dr. Decherd feeling slightly apprehensive since my trust in plastic surgeons had been completely shattered, but his patience, understanding, and sincere concern for my well-being encouraged me to move forward with a Capsulorrhaphy and I couldn’t be more pleased! If you’ve been told you have to settle with less than stellar results due to “bottoming out” or “aging skin”, don’t believe it. Do your research and I’m sure you will find that Dr. Decherd can provide your solution! For me, he’s been a game-changer! More
I went to Dr. Decherd for my breast augmentation and am so happy how it turned out. He and his staff were very friendly and professional through the entire experience. I went once for my consultation and quickly tried on sizers. The whole following week I worried about if the size was what I wanted so I called to ask if I could try on the sizers again and they told me to just walk in anytime to try them on. I ultimately went for the max size in the range they recommended for me. 420cc high profile round silicone. My pre-op and post-op care were superb (my nurse was Denise love her!), Dr. Decherd and his anesthesiologist both talked to me before the procedure and I felt like I was in great hands the entire time (my perspective as a L&D/postpartum nurse with experience in the OR).Recovery was fine, I definitely took the pain meds I was given for the first 4 days then started to ween myself down. Those first few day my husband helped me do everything, even wash my hair lol. My boobs were so high and started off square looking, I knew it was a normal part of the process but it still was freaky. After a few months they started to drop and fluff, not at the same time though. It's almost been a year now and I am so in love with them. I got new bras and they sized me at a 32DD! And that's on coming from 32AA :) I'm so happy I did it! 5 stars just aren’t enough!!! I had a tummy tuck at the end of December, with significant muscle repair (I was separated 10 cm!!!) I just cannot express how much this surgery has changed my life! In fact, I only met with him one time prior to surgery and that was at my consultation 2 months before the procedure. But, I called about a week before I went under and they answered all my questions/concerns about the upcoming surgery. As far as recovery, there were no supplements/massages/special binders recommended either. Basically, just wear a compression garment for 6 weeks and that was it. I am now 10 weeks post op and just had my final meeting with him. Everything looks amazing and has healed beautifully! More

All I can say is go to nurse injector Jules for Botox! I was a first-timer- and she informed me of everything I needed to know, made me feel extremely comfortable, and the icing on the cake? My face looks ABSOLUTELY amazing. I am only 28 years old so starting to see wrinkles for the first time was a... “weird” feeling for me. She was able to give me just the right amount to where it wasn’t overdone, but my wrinkles are GONE! Yes, gone! Feeling beautiful is important to me, especially during the times I am starting to see changes in my appearance that I don’t necessarily like. For years I have been wanting a breast augmentation so I researched some of the top surgeons in the San Antonio and Austin area. Good beside manner is an important contributing factor for me in choosing a surgeon. Dr. Decherd was friendly, attentive and engaging on a personal level. Many times physicians must hop from one patient to the next and it can feel as though you're being rushed in your visit. I feel like Dr. Decherd and his staff provided great individualized care and courteous bedside manner. Not only is Dr. Decherd patient, kind, informative and comical (an excellent trait for handling my high anxiety!), but his work is second to none. I had very specific requests for size, shape, and placement, and I woke up with literally the greatest set of twins I've ever seen, and I'm from CA, just outside the San Fernando Valley (google what that's known for.... I'll wait). I am beyond pleased with his incredible staff, the hospital and anesthesiologists he uses, the pre-op consultations (yes, plural- I had a LOT of questions), and the aftercare. Even after hours, on Christmas Eve, the doctor made himself available to answer my questions. I'm the worst patient. Like, ever. But seriously, flawless incisions, perfect contouring, nearly no pain during recovery, I am probably the biggest cheerleader ever for this wonderful doctor!!! I'm 62 y/o and have been obese more of my life than not. I finally got the weight off and worked out, but skin can't be exercised. Dr. D was recommended to be by my General Practioner. It has now been one week since my tummy tuck and breast lift. I feel great!Bullets:- Great and efficent front office staff. Trust me, that can make or break the experience.- Cost, deposits, and final pay date, well defined, with no surprises.- Dr D and Sarah, coordinator, spent a good deal of time with me, helping me decide was was good for me, and managing expectations. YOU CAN TRUST THEM.- Surgery suite is private and not in a hospital. Only reason I went ahead during the Covid times. I won't go to a public hospital.- Anesthesologist was so comforting. He explain everything and was patient with my questions. I don't know what they gave me in pre-op room, but it was good! I don't remember being wheeled into the operating suite. Stress less.- After surgery, they are just nice. They made sure my husband understood the instructions, and sent us home prepared.- Pain was shockingly mild. At most, I was uncomfortable. The binders are a [RS bleep], but they are critical for a great final result. I had adequate pain meds and didn't used them after the 3rd day.- I was allowed to shower 24 hours after!!!! And I did. Heaven.- I had /have two drains in my mons for the tummy tuck. They don't hurt, but they are uncomfortable and need to be emptied and the fluid tracked. It's not hard, just not something I wanted to do, but I do.The first time I took off my clothes and binders and looked in the mirror!- 24 hours after surgery I took my shower. I took off the binders/compression garments, held my drains in my hands, and stood in front of a full length mirror. I was stunned. Absolutely stunned. Even with the tape, stitches, a bit of bruising and drains, I looked amazing. My stomach was absolutely flat.....absolutely. My waist was smaller, and has gotten smaller each day. I had a rocken body.- I opted for a breast lift vs implant. I was a DD and think I'll be somewhere between a very full C or D. They are beautiful, natural looking. My aerolas were placed perfectly and I have feeling in them. Everything is swollen and will change, but the beginning start is just amazing.- Day after tomorrow I go do see if my drains can be taken out. That will be a banner day when I can. I'll update this with progress and pics. More

I am 38 with three children ages 20, 5, and 4. I'm having my tummy tuck with muscle repair and breast lift/reduction tomorrow at 7 am. I am excited and nervous at the same time, but I am ready to get back to feeling like me inside and out, and comfortable in my own skin. I am tired of hiding behind baggy tee shirts because I look pregnant when I am not (I have been asked a couple of times). I have chosen Dr. Decherd as my ps. I am very happy with Dr. Decherd, his staff, and my final results. I had rhinoplasty surgery 13 months ago. I spent 2 years researching and deciding if I wanted to go through with the procedure. I flew to Houston and San Antonio to meet with Doctors, and spoke with others in Dallas. Needless to say...I was going to be a high maintenance client. I went to see Dr. Decherd for the first time about something completely unrelated. After leaving his office and processing my experience with him and his staff (Heather in particular), I made another appointment to discuss rhinoplasty. After I made the decision to move forward, I met with Dr. Decherd three additional times. Each time I had a full page of questions for him. He answered all of my questions and I did not feel rushed. I was nervous and kind of embarrassed to ask some of my questions but I asked anyway because I didn't want to leave any questions un answered. He never made me feel dumb for asking the questions and he took every question I had seriously. This is something that was VERY important to me. I felt more comfortable every time I left his office. Every time I met with Dr. Decherd he always had another female present in the room. I thought this was very professional. The day of surgery went very smoothly. I was really happy with the private surgical facility. Very clean, private, and comfortable. Fast forwarding to the present...it takes 12-18 months to see the final results from a rhinoplasty procedure. That is why I'm writing this review 13 months later. Before my surgery I was uncomfortable taking pictures, I felt bad/sad when I looked in the mirror, and I had pain from the injury which cased my problem in the first place. I am very happy with Dr. Decherd, his staff, and my final results. I had rhinoplasty surgery 13 months ago. I spent 2 years researching and deciding if I wanted to go through with the procedure. I flew to Houston and San Antonio to meet with Doctors, and spoke with others in Dallas. Needless to say...I was going to be a high maintenance client. I went to see Dr. Decherd for the first time about something completely unrelated. After leaving his office and processing my experience with him and his staff (Heather in particular), I made another appointment to discuss rhinoplasty. After I made the decision to move forward, I met with Dr. Decherd three additional times. Each time I had a full page of questions for him. He answered all of my questions and I did not feel rushed. I was nervous and kind of embarrassed to ask some of my questions but I asked anyway because I didn't want to leave any questions un answered. He never made me feel dumb for asking the questions and he took every question I had seriously. This is something that was VERY important to me. I felt more comfortable every time I left his office. Every time I met with Dr. Decherd he always had another female present in the room. I thought this was very professional. The day of surgery went very smoothly. I was really happy with the private surgical facility. Very clean, private, and comfortable. Fast forwarding to the present...it takes 12-18 months to see the final results from a rhinoplasty procedure. That is why I'm writing this review 13 months later. Before my surgery I was uncomfortable taking pictures, I felt bad/sad when I looked in the mirror, and I had pain from the injury which cased my problem in the first place. I no longer dread wearing a swimsuit - Nine months ago, I had a tummy tuck and nipple reduction surgery. I am extremely happy with the results and the care from Dr. Decherd and his staff. I was almost 42 years old at the time of surgery and had loose skin and separated abdominal muscles from my 5 pregnancies. I had nursed my babies for a combined total of 7 years. This left me with long, droopy nipples. There was a two month wait to see Dr. Decherd for a consult when I initially contacted his office. I met with him and Heather (one of his RN's). I was probably with them for an hour or more. They were very thorough in answering questions and explaining everything. I had been on one other consult, with another surgeon previously, and wasn't comfortable with the staff. Everyone on Dr. Decherd's staff is kind, competent and easy to talk to. It took a long time to get a consult, but following my surgery, it was always easy to get an appointment. They took excellent care of me. I spent a lot of time in online forums (for tummy tucks) before my surgery and saw many posts from unhappy people. I feel fortunate to have found a highly skilled and experienced surgeon who pays attention to every detail of a tummy tuck. So many surgeons don't get things quite right in the operating room or the recovery. When doing a tummy tuck, Dr. Decherd lifts the mons, makes a low incision (which is important if you want to wear a bikini), does lipo in the area near the incision, repairs the separated abdominal muscles and makes a fantastic looking belly button. He uses Exparel, which controls pain in the early days following surgery. The tape he uses on the incision stays on for about 3 weeks.......I'm glad that I didn't have to see my incision initially. When the tape did come off, the scar was thin and flat. I had sciatic nerve pain in my left hip for over 8 years (since my 4th pregnancy). It went away completely after the tummy tuck. I'm guessing that fixing the separated abdominal muscles is the reason for that. What a pleasant surprise!I'm very happy with my results. I had spent over a decade wearing tight camisoles under my clothing to hold in my loose skin. Now I can wear a bikini with confidence....I have the mid section of a teenager. Before surgery, my nipples folded over when I put on a bra. I was disgusted by the sight of them. Dr. Decherd made them normal again and I have no loss of sensation.I would recommend Dr. Decherd for anyone who is interested in plastic surgery on their body. Making the outside match the inside - I am 38 with three children ages 20, 5, and 4. I'm having my tummy tuck with muscle repair and breast lift/reduction tomorrow at 7 am. I am excited and nervous at the same time, but I am ready to get back to feeling like me inside and out, and comfortable in my own skin. After having 6 children I was in desperate need of a tummy tuck. I had a lot of loose skin and a hernia. Dr. Decherd did an amazing job fixing it. I’m 17 days out and even though I have a lot of healing ahead of me I’m already thrilled with my new belly. The scar is nice and low and he got rid of my hernia. He's very straightforward and to the point. He’s not going to coddle you, but he’s an excellent surgeon. His staff is friendly and pleasant and so far I’m pleased. I would highly recommend him! I had my procedure the end of May. My whole experience was amazing. The staff is very sweet and attentive anything I needed, they were ready and available to help me with or accommodate to. I did a lot of research before choosing and I have no regrets at all choosing Dr. Decherd. Two of my friends i recommended him to also had excellent outcomes. They both went to Dr Decherd on my recommendation and came out with excellent outcomes. One had a facelift and she experienced some medical complications but Dr Decherd and his staff stepped in and took immediate care of her. My friend had no issues using the cosmetic insurance Dr Decherd offers all his patients to cover the $costs for the medical complications that came up. I personally didn't have to use that cosmetic insurance but i recommend everyone get it. I think its called CosmetAssure. My other friend had a breast augmentation and her work looks amazing. Got the mommy makeover done on 2/28/19. Wasn’t sure what to expect. Seems like I was in and out, and results so far look awesome. Hardly any pain, just soreness. The incisions look perfect. So happy I chose Dr. Decherd...I’m an engineer and once he said he had an engineering degree I knew he could work perfection! His staff are all very nice and beautiful women. Very kind and caring and crack jokes to help you relax. Dr. Kirby the anesthesiologist was also very kind and caring. They got you in did their job and got you on your way! Would highly recommend! Couldn’t be happier with my experience from start to finish. Most importantly as a former OR nurse I was most impressed with the surgery experience itself and his OR staff. Dr.Decherd is amazing! - After having two C-sections, my body needed a little help. I got myself in the best shape and then I left the rest to Dr.Decherd. This man is truly a life changer! My initial consultation was extremely informative and he’s so humble and down to earth. He didn’t try to sell me on anything I didn’t need and he was so honest about his practice and his work. I loved that he put me at ease and genuinely cared about my well-being. He isn’t flashy or boastful. He’s a good doctor with a good heart who genuinely wants his patients to look and feel their best. I knew I could trust him and his staff after that first visit. I was almost 42 years old at the time of surgery and had loose skin and separated abdominal muscles from my 5 pregnancies. I had nursed my babies for a combined total of 7 years. This left me with long, droopy nipples. There was a two month wait to see Dr. Decherd for a consult when I initially contacted his office. I met with him and Heather (one of his RN's). I was probably with them for an hour or more. They were very thorough in answering questions and explaining everything. I had been on one other consult, with another surgeon previously, and wasn't comfortable with the staff. Everyone on Dr. Decherd's staff is kind, competent and easy to talk to. It took a long time to get a consult, but following my surgery, it was always easy to get an appointment. They took excellent care of me. I spent a lot of time in online forums (for tummy tucks) before my surgery and saw many posts from unhappy people. I feel fortunate to have found a highly skilled and experienced surgeon who pays attention to every detail of a tummy tuck. So many surgeons don't get things quite right in the operating room or the recovery. When doing a tummy tuck, Dr. Decherd lifts the mons, makes a low incision (which is important if you want to wear a bikini), does lipo in the area near the incision, repairs the separated abdominal muscles and makes a fantastic looking belly button. He uses Exparel, which controls pain in the early days following surgery. The tape he uses on the incision stays on for about 3 weeks.......I'm glad that I didn't have to see my incision initially. When the tape did come off, the scar was thin and flat. I had sciatic nerve pain in my left hip for over 8 years (since my 4th pregnancy). It went away completely after the tummy tuck. I'm guessing that fixing the separated abdominal muscles is the reason for that. What a pleasant surprise! I'm very happy with my results. I had spent over a decade wearing tight camisoles under my clothing to hold in my loose skin. Now I can wear a bikini with confidence....I have the mid section of a teenager. Before surgery, my nipples folded over when I put on a bra. I was disgusted by the sight of them. Dr. Decherd made them normal again and I have no loss of sensation. I would recommend Dr. Decherd for anyone who is interested in plastic surgery on their body. More

Dr. Decherd did such an amazing job with my breast augmentation! I couldn’t be happier with the results. His staff was great and he sat and took the time to answer my (70) questions I came in with. We booked my surgery for a week after my consultation. I made a joke to him about wanting to wake up to a mountain of chocolate... and I kid you not, I woke up next to a pile of chocolate. My Tummy Tuck Story - Hey there. I wanted to start documenting my journey. I’ve got an a abdominoplasty w/Lipo and a lateral skin excision scheduled for December 17, 2018. But first, the backstory. I’ve always been overweight and had been diagnosed with diabetes a few years ago. My highest recorded weight was 388lbs. It’s always been a struggle to lose and maintain weight loss. So I’m December of last year, I elected to have a gastric sleeve procedure. Best decision in my life. I’m off all of my diabetic meds, I’ve lost right at 175lbs. I feel great and feel that I have unlocked a quality of life I thought I never would have attained. With that weight loss, comes the excess skin. At 6months after my sleeve, I started looking for a PS. I found a few and scheduled consults. At present time, I live in Alaska. One of the surgeons here wanted nearly 22k for my procedure. The surgeon was great but that price was far outside budget. I gave family living in San Antonio, so I scheduled a console down there. I found two, but ultimately selected Dr. Dechard. His demeanor is calm and approachable. He answered all of my questions and made me feel very confident and comfortable with him. Total for my procedure was quoted for 11k. I put down a deposit and scheduled my surgery. I can’t wait. I did schedule a month off from work. I’ll post pictures once it gets closer to my surgery date. More
Thrilled with my new tummy! - After having 6 children I was in desperate need of a tummy tuck. I had a lot of loose skin and a hernia. Dr. Decherd did an amazing job fixing it. I’m 17 days out and even though I have a lot of healing ahead of me I’m already thrilled with my new belly. The scar is nice and low and he got rid of my hernia. He's very straightforward and to the point. He’s not going to coddle you, but he’s an excellent surgeon. His staff is friendly and pleasant and so far I’m pleased. I would highly recommend him! His work speaks for itself.Updated on 29 Nov 2018:I’m 3 months post op and I’m still swollen but I’m loving my results. I’ve gained a little weight but hasn’t affected anything. Full TT with Lipo at Flanks and Muscle Repair - 26 Years Old, Major Weight Loss - I lost about 100 pounds in a year, which left me with some major saggy skin on my tummy. Had a full tt with lipo on flanks and muscle repair with Dr. Decherd in San Antonio. It was way way way worth it. I have never loved my body more. My scar is healing beautifully and I have no problem with it whatsoever. It is hidden under all underwear, even thongs. I feel amazing and love showing off my belly. Healing wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. After about three weeks I started to feel pretty normal. I’m currently about 3.5 months post op and feel 100% back to normal. The surgery went well and I was very pleased with my results. I am 41 and I must say I feel and look like I’ve erased years off myself. Did I mention that the office is super luxurious with amazing decor and very high tech, but the absolute best part is the snacks; ??candy and chips! Sorry I always get distracted with SNACKS ??. Moving on to the POINT. Dr. Dechard ????? was out of this ?? world. He made me feel comfortable and that is super important to me. Dr. Decherd did such an amazing job with my breast augmentation! I couldn’t be happier with the results. His staff was great and he sat and took the time to answer my (70) questions I came in with. We booked my surgery for a week after my consultation. I made a joke to him about wanting to wake up to a mountain of chocolate... and I kid you not, I woke up next to a pile of chocolate. I have nothing but lovely things to say about this practice! I came to Dr. Decherd in 2016 for a breast augmentation and lift and have been very happy with my results. I had a great experience from the start - he has a great staff to greet you at the front and the overall ambiance of the office is very welcoming. I really appreciated how Dr. Decherd explained the procedure to me by physically drawing out and diagramming the technicalities of the surgery. He put me at ease and really listened to what I was hoping to achieve from the procedure. He makes a great effort to make sure you are pleased with your results. His nurse, Heather, is awesome! In December of 2017 I had a tummy tuck and a my implants removed with a lift. Initially I was very concerned because my previous procedure was not what I expected. When I met with Dr. Decherd he was very attentive to my needs and concerns. I did my research on Dr. Decherd and all reviews were positive so I trusted him with this new procedure. DR. DECHARD did some major chassis work on my 1966 frame (full abdomniplasty). I am 10 days post surgery, and I am incredibly greatful to him and his staff for all of the time, care, and interaction. So happy with my breast lift /Augmentation! - I had a breast lift with an augmentation in November of 2004 and then got pregnant in January of 2005 which cause a very undesirable effect on my breasts. In 2012 I had the implants removed as part of a process to help improve the shape but did not get the results I wanted. I went back to my original PS from 2004 and he was able to do an amazing job with 390cc silicone implants and do a lift at the same time! My breasts look and feel amazing so far! I can hardly wait until the swelling goes down and I can start exercising again!!! Amazing!! More

Changed my life!!! - This experience has changed my life. Dr. Decherd was the first consult I had lined up and I cancelled the other 2. His staff was amazing, and after a lot of research, I knew he was the one to do my mommy makeover. I went in nervous and not knowing what to expect, and left feeling uplifted and elated that this was a possibility. He was thorough and very kind. I'm now almost 4 weeks post op and could not be happier with the results. I literally tear up almost every morning getting dressed because I now have confidence and feel like a completely new person. I had an amazing experience - San Antonio, TX - Omg!!! My experience with Dr Decherd and his staff has been an amazing experience thus far. His staff is wonderful... the ladies are the ones who really help me solitify my decision to go with Dr. Decherd. I'm 5'9 at 32 yrs old recently lost 42lbs 195 down to 158 and breastfed for 22 months and now with a 4 year old and have always had saggy breast and it was even worst after breastfeeding. So I decided to have a breast lift and implants 339CC.I made my consultation appt and before I left his office I knew I found the right doctor and staff. They allowed me to visit multiple times to make sure felt comfortable with the CC of implants and Kelsey is amazing allowing me to email her back and forth all day long with questions.The day of the surgery the hospital staff was amazing, they made sure I was comfortable and kept me calm. They helped me with pain management afterwards and I must say I didn't experience anything over a 3 on a scale 1-10 for pain. I'm day 7 and still haven't experienced over a 3. Not sure if i have a high pain tolerance or Dr. Decherd is gentle during surgery or the medication he prescribe is the perfect. I was super scared of the healing and recovery process and it has been a breeze. I was up moving around 24 hours after surgery and back to work in 4 days.Heather called me from her personal cell phone the day of surgery to make sure I was ok and gave me extra information. Having a tummy tuck has changed my life!!!! Best thing I ever did!!! - Hi everyone!! I have been wanting to do this for years!!! Just never thought I would have the money to do it. I had my first son when I was 15 and my lower belly got stretch marks and a saddle bag. I handled it...but then at 21 my twins came and so did my gallbladder troubles. I had my first one naturally but my twins were c section. After the c section I went home started having worse gallbladder problems so two months later it was removed. I felt like a science project that year. I had never had surgery til then. I also felt like my stomach looked like it had been attacked by a cheese grater lol. I always had this pregnant appearance because my upper belly was so huge. I have always been asked when I was due. Lol the first time it happened I was devastated...but after living in this body for so long I just said what the heck and started laughing about it. After my boys were born I weighed about 165 lbs and I started working out every day. I went down to 150-155 and that's where I stayed for years...couldn't get it off of me...then I started working overnights and lifting heavy things and the lowest I got was 141 lbs. at this point my legs looked anorexic I started getting sick and my belly still was just a shinning. So I eventually just gave up and I have been between 170- to 180 ever since. I thought what's the point of working out if I will lose everywhere but my belly? And then look sick in my legs and backside?As of now I can wear a size 11-13 pants but legs are huge!! If they fall past my belly...they hit the floor!! Leggings are becoming my friends lol I wear a size 2x top to hide my whopper belly. It helps but the sleeves are too big. I absolutely can not wear a one piece bathing suit!! The butt in the suit hangs but my belly stretches out the material so tight!! Two piece tankinis are wonderful!! I can get short bottoms size 7-9 and then a 2x top so my belly will fit in there!! Bathing suits are a nightmare really... Shorts.....forget it...belly fits... my legs look like they are ringing a bell ..the legs are so big lol so really shopping for clothes is no fun at all!! And takes a lot of time to do to make sure things will fit right. I don't wish to be model thin...as a matter of fact I don't mind being a little healthy boned...I just am really looking forward to being proportionate again. Having a waist again. And being able to actually fit in some clothes that will look decent. And to be able to wear yellow or purple with out feeling like I look like big bird or Barney lol darker colors really help conceal this biz...but man some bright colors would be lovely...I have been on realself now since 2012...all your stories and photos have inspired me. It's nice to know I'm not alone in how I feel and not alone in wanting to have a positive change for myself....not not just feel good in my heart but to feel good about myself all the way around. I have never known a normal body since I was 15. It's time for me now!!! I have not yet scheduled my appointment but I hope to very soon within the next couple of months! ???? More
33 Yo, 3 Kids (17,9,2) Much Needed Mommy Makeover - San Antonio, TX - I am now 1yr and 4 months post op Mommy Makeover. I didn't want to write a review until I went through at least one year of this journey. To make a long story as short as possible my body changed dramatically by the age of 16 yrs old. I had my daughter and gained a massive amount of weight. My body went from an active athlete to an overweight young mother within 9 months. I never saw myself as fat until years later when I saw my pictures. 7 years later I had my son and lost 50 pounds. I went from a size 16 to an 8. I found my inner athlete again and worked out like crazy. Although my skin was never the same again. My boobs got much smaller and I lost alot of muscle mass. Sure enough, 7 years later I had my 3rd child and went back to a size 12-14. I tied my tubes and told my husband it was time for me and for my mommy makeover! My breasts were even more deflated and uneven, my stomach was bigger and more saggy than even before! I was nervous because it was not a cheap thing to do and we are not filthy rich. I was nervous because it's a huge decision and I didn't want to end up on Botched. I started doing research and became obsessed with looking at mommy makeovers online. Some MM looked so bad It was scary. I had a friend I did crossfit with and she recommend Dr. Michael Dechard. She had a lift and augmentation with him and was happy with her results. I set my appointment up and had my first free consultation. I was happy with the staff and Dr. Dechard. I didn't feel uncomfortable and he pretty much broke it all down for me. All my questions and showed me pictures. I knew that day he would be my Doctor. I had all three surgeries done at once. My lift, Augmentation (600 cc) , and tummy tuck. Best decision to do it all at the same time. I have 3 kids and cannot afford to keep going in and out of surgeries. The procedure took about 6 hours. I woke up and right away wanted to see my results. I was able to open my surgery belt and was immediatly happy with my results. I was in recovery for a few hours and was sent home. No over night stay. I recommend a walker, and chair to sit on when you shower, a recliner and meds etc. I'm not going to lie recovery was brutal. I slept for the first day or two but after that the drains were really annoying and somewhat painful. I got them out at about 1 week PO. Lower back pain is horrible because you are hunched over for weeks. Dr, Dechard did a great job tightening my muscles and took off my skin to the point where all my stretch marks were gone. It took me six weeks to stand strait because he did tighten my skin so much. Swell hell gets really bad about month 2-3. Do not get discouraged, it's normal but frustrating. I tried to stay away from high sodium foods and bad foods of course. I slept in my old maternity bras and was able to unclip the front and clean my incisions easily. I also wore my surgical belt all day and spanx for months. It really helps the swelling and just makes you feel secure and tight where the incision is. I bought surgical scar strips and Maderma. Over all, I can say I did not feel completely normal until about 10 months. I think the waiting is the hardest thing out of everything. I do not regret my mommy makeover one bit. I am able to wear things that I could not even wear after having my daughter as a teen. I never enjoyed a youthful looking body until now. No more spanx, no more major bra support. I am happy and my husband is happy. lol More

Not only is Dr. Decherd patient, kind, informative and comical (an excellent trait for handling my high anxiety!), but his work is second to none. I had very specific requests for size, shape, and placement, and I woke up with literally the greatest set of twins I've ever seen, and I'm from CA, just outside the San Fernando Valley (google what that's known for.... I'll wait). I am beyond pleased with his incredible staff, the hospital and anesthesiologists he uses, the pre-o...p consultations (yes, plural- I had a LOT of questions), and the aftercare. 36 5'4" 135lbs Mom to 3 - San Antonio, TX - Dr. Decherd is a BADASS!! Update: I'm not sure that I have ever seen a TT scar this low. Didn't even think it was possible. I originally went in for a mini tummy tuck. So glad I listened to Dr. Decherd and chose him to do a full tummy tuck! Just had scar revision. My original scar was already low and "pretty", as far as TT scars go. Very symmetrical, and my husband kept saying it just looks like I'm wearing a tiny bikini bottom....it didn't even bother him. It was beginning to lighten so much on the hips that I could barely see it,but I'm really in to the super low Brazilian bikini bottoms. Dr. Decherd offered to lower it for me even more. He also said that he would like to revise my BB (hence, the red inflamed BB once again) to get rid of the hypertrophic scar atlround the top ( the bottom scarred beautifully...tiny faint white line....very hard to see). Hopefully this time the top will scar like the bottom. I was already happy with my result. Now, I can wear my teeny, tiny bottoms without constantly checking to see if the scar is poking out on the hips. I have gone from "happy with my result", to "thrilled and ecstatic with my result". love my doctor! - San Antonio, TX - I am extremely pleased with my results! I am 53 years old, but was looking like I was in my 60's. I had smoked for 40 years and had also been under a great deal of stress for most of my married life (33 years). My goal was to get rid of the jowls and to look less haggered. Dr. Michael Decherd at the San Antonio Plastic Surgery Institute did a facelift, necklift, and upper and lower bleph. I look fabulous and I feel fabulous! I feel like he gave me all of my missing time back. His bedside manner is wonderful and the hospital was great, as well. I was realistic about my goals and didn't expect to look 25-I just wanted to look my age. And I wanted people to stop telling me I looked tired all the time. So glad I went for it! On 4/28/16 I had and tummy tuck and breast augmentation. From the beginning Dr D and his staff was awesome. They took the time to answer every single question. Dr D took the time to explain everything and was very honest and up front about everything. I had absolutely NO complications after my procedure. I admire Dr D art skills as a physician. My incision for the tummy tuck was low and can be completely covered with low rise panties. My breast came out perfect size for my petite body. Today is 5/6 and I'm feeling great! I even went shopping today. No pain, and I'm pretty much walking straight up and not hunched over. Of course i still have swelling but I wear an abdominal binder to help with that but even though there's swelling I can fit in all my clothes:-). My waist line is nice and small, almost all stretch marks are gone. I paid extra for the exparel so all I had to take was Motrin to help with inflammation so I HIGHLY recommend this for tummy tuck. Before surgery I was able to talk with Dr D and the anesthesiologist to address any final concerns. I did not wake up shivering or in excruciating pain. There was a nurse right by my side when I woke up. The whole process was perfect. I have NO complaints about anything. I'm healing great and enjoying the body I had before 3 kids:-). I loved my experience with Dr. Decherd and his staff. After having lost over 50 lbs, I found myself still very frustrated with my body. After an initial consultation in July, I had a "mommy make over" with Dr. Decherd in early Nov. 2015 that included a tummy tuck and breast augmentation. I am now 3 months out from surgery and adoring the results I am seeing. As far as attention and caring, the whole office is among what I would call the best of the best. They are more than willing to visit with you on any concerns that you may have come up and will even gladly squeeze you in for a same day visit if it is not something they can trouble shoot over the phone. After my seeking went down the doctor thought my love handles could have been done better and did the additional procedures in the office at no extra cost.
