Dr. Isakson has changed my life completely for the better. I have gone up and down in weight by more than 50 lbs, two babies, 1 c-section and numerous prior abdominal surgeries. Dr Isakson performed Breast Augmentation and lipo on this mom of 3! Having children certainly changed my body. I had my old implants removed and replaced, breast revision, and lipo of chin and arms and I couldnt be any more thrilled with the results. I changed my mind several times about the size of implants (afraid of going too big) but the office never made me feel like I was a bother or high maintenance-- everyone, Dr. included, was very patient and informative. Everything from the initial scheduling to payment to surgery and post op care was easy breezy. The OR girls are so fun and sweet as can be and made sure I was comfortable at all times. Dr. Decherd is on his A game and makes it all look easy even when its not. I had a few other consults with surgeons and knew before I left My consult with the Dr I'd be scheduling with him- it just felt right. 34 yr old mommy makeover- breast lift, 350cc low profile aug, tummy tuck, lipo of inner and outer thighs - After having my daughter, no matter how much time I spent in the gym, there were just some body parts that were not going back so I opted for a full mommy makeover. It included tummy tuck with limited lipo, lipo of inner and outer thighs, breast lift, and breast augmentation (natrelle silicon low profile 350 cc). My biggest fear was choosing the right breast size! I wanted upper pole volume but not a ton of projection. It's rather rare for women to opt for low profile but they were perfect for my needs. So ladies if you have a decent amount of breast issue that needs to be lifted and your not looking for a massive size increase but upper fullness and better shape don't be afraid of the low profile! My after picture is just 4 days post op so there is obviously some swelling and my breasts are high but I can already tell I'm going to love the results! Dr Decherd and his staff have been beyond amazing and my after picture speaks volumes about his amazing work. Some tips, rent yourself a recliner lift chair and walker! the lift chair is a game changer! It's comfortable to sleep in and made getting in and out of bed so much easier. Have HELP, I had my mom, dad and husband with me, believe me you will need help for everything the first 3-4 days. The first 4 days are no joke mainly due to the side affects of anesthesia, but by day 5 I felt like I made the turn and have been backing off the major pain meds and the nausea is gone. I go in for my first post op in 3 days. I can't wait to see my results over the coming months!Updated on 31 Aug 2021:Updated on 14 Sep 2021:Extremely happy with my results! I can see my shape coming through more and more each week. I still am very swollen as you can tell by my side picture, but that’s a normal part of the process. Had a tummy tuck with lipo to the flanks. Dr. Decherd's staff is amazing! They were friendly and answered all my questions before and after surgery. Dr. Decherd himself created a masterpiece! I could not be happier with my results. I did find it interesting that he takes a very "back to basics" approach as far as prepping and healing from surgery. There were no pre-surgery labs done. In fact, I only met with him one time prior to surgery and that was at my consultation 2 months before the procedure. But, I called about a week before I went under and they answered all my questions/concerns about the upcoming surgery. As far as recovery, there were no supplements/massages/special binders recommended either. Basically, just wear a compression garment for 6 weeks and that was it. I am now 10 weeks post op and just had my final meeting with him. Everything looks amazing and has healed beautifully! You definitely need to do your research and know what you're getting into. I joined some social media groups that were very useful to help me know what questions to ask and what to expect, which was good because I got very little of this information from Dr. Decherd's office up front. Overall, I would say Dr. Decherd is a wonderful talented surgeon who will give you incredible results. But, it will be your responsibility to research the ins and outs of what to expect, because there isn't a lot of hand-holding from them! More

I've been working with him for almost 2 years now and it's been ups and downs with scar revisions, etc. However Dr. Decherd and his staff have always been there for me and helped me get through it all. He stood by his word and fixed some of the scars and common revisions needed after major plastic surgery. I'm so thankful for everything he's done. I highly recommend doing a consult with him before choosing your plastic surgeon. I saw over eight local plastic surgeons in san antonio and i found Dr. Decherd prices and professionalism won above all the Drs i saw. I did a lot of research before choosing and I have no regrets at all choosing Dr. Decherd. Two of my friends i recommended him to also had excellent outcomes. They both went to Dr Decherd on my recommendation and came out with excellent outcomes. One had a facelift and she experienced some medical complications but Dr Decherd and his staff stepped in and took immediate care of her. My friend had no issues using the cosmetic insurance Dr Decherd offers all his patients to cover the $costs for the medical complications that came up. I personally didn't have to use that cosmetic insurance but i recommend everyone get it. I think its called CosmetAssure. My other friend had a breast augmentation and her work looks amazing. Very friendly, I was always seen promptly, if I called with a question it was quickly answered. they let me try on different sizes. What also really helped in my decision making was the imaging system he has on site. Given the risk, expense, long term commitment to the whole process, I was having difficulty visualizing the breast aug and it was so hard to make a choice that way. Amazing experience - I am very pleased to say that I had breast augmentation and liposuction done by Dr. Decherd and it is hands down the best thing that I have ever done! Dr. Decherd is very friendly and personable, and made me feel right at ease. In short Dr. Dechard gave me my life back. Before having my daughter I was a very busy promotional model. Pregnancy left my body unsightly.
