There’s not enough nice things for me to say about Dr. Isakson! He has amazing bedside manner, he’s funny, realistic and he met and continues to meet every expectation I have! I found Dr. Matthew Isakson from another IG Mom I follow. After having 4 kiddos, my breasts were completely mauled. I came for a consult and immediately decided I was in good hands and was confident Dr. Isakson could fix it all. I am happy to report that I have never been more confident and after a lift and augmentation, they are better looking than they were in my early 20s before babies. Dr Isakson performed Breast Augmentation and lipo on this mom of 3! Having children certainly changed my body. Dr Isakson walked through my specific areas of concern and spoke to what he could do to make me look and feel better. He was super informative and his bedside rapport was excellent. Make sure it's the right Dr! Mommy makeover after 3 c-sections & weight gain - I had three c-sections. I also gained and lost 100 lbs so my body needed some help! I did my research and found Dr. D to have great reviews. I also checked for any lawsuits or discipline by the medical board. After meeting him and seeing his results, I knew he was the one I wanted to do my surgery. There is another local dr. that is very popular but I didn't really like her vibe. Find the person who feels right for you. Being comfortable with your dr. is important too!Updated on 13 Dec 2023:MMO has gone so well. I am so happy I did it! Belly still looks great! Exercise has resumed. Zero swelling. I decided I went with too small of an implant size...boobie greed! I went back to my surgeon and let him know that I wish I had gotten a larger size. He agreed to swap out my implants. Since he was the one who had created the pockets such a short time prior, he stated it would be a simple procedure. I was AWAKE for the entire thing. SO EASY! Dr. Matthew Isakson has been an amazing physician, surgeon and friend during my recent plastic surgery. I would highly recommend him to anyone considering a plastic procedure. Other plastic surgeons have a reputation of seeking perfection and giving off a “conceited” vibe like they are the best and their work is the best and unless you’re that ideal ht/wt/body type/physique you aren’t worthy of their time and talent. This is definitely not the case for Dr. Isakson. From the moment we met at the consultation, he has made me feel like I was worthy as I am and that he can only help to make me feel better by making me look better. I got a tummy tuck and boob lift. I was very skeptical and nervous because I was approx 40lbs overweight on the day of my surgery. 2.5 months post op and I am amazed with my results. I'm super excited for the big surgery day to get here - I met with Dr. Decherd back in July 2021 for a consultation. I had previously met a couple other local surgeons and was excited to meet Dr. Decherd after extensive research. His before and after's were absolutely amazing and I was eager to meet him. When I arrived I felt welcomed and the nurse who brought me back was really nice and welcoming. I instantly felt comfortable. When Dr. Decherd walked in he explained everything to me and even drew a picture. I felt very informed and I didn't feel that way with the other provider I had meet. My Mommy make over (breast augmentation, tummy tuck and lipo) is scheduled for 11/15/2021 and I'm super excited. For my breast I have decided to go with 485 high profile silicone implants. This fits my chest size of 13 diameter (I think that's what I measured) which was a big concern for me as I don't want boobs that are to far apart and wanted to ensure the implants fit my chest size. For my tummy tuck the goal is to go as low as possible to hide scar and to get rid of as much stretch marks as possible. I plan on discussing this in more detail again during my pre op apt scheduled in October. He will also be doing some lipo to give a smooth contoured look on my sides. I'm hoping to look "snatched" after lol. I'm super excited for the big surgery day to get here!! 34 yr old mommy makeover- breast lift, 350cc low profile aug, tummy tuck, lipo of inner and outer thighs - After having my daughter, no matter how much time I spent in the gym, there were just some body parts that were not going back so I opted for a full mommy makeover. It included tummy tuck with limited lipo, lipo of inner and outer thighs, breast lift, and breast augmentation (natrelle silicon low profile 350 cc). My biggest fear was choosing the right breast size! I wanted upper pole volume but not a ton of projection. It's rather rare for women to opt for low profile but they were perfect for my needs. So ladies if you have a decent amount of breast issue that needs to be lifted and your not looking for a massive size increase but upper fullness and better shape don't be afraid of the low profile! My after picture is just 4 days post op so there is obviously some swelling and my breasts are high but I can already tell I'm going to love the results! Dr Decherd and his staff have been beyond amazing and my after picture speaks volumes about his amazing work. Some tips, rent yourself a recliner lift chair and walker! the lift chair is a game changer! It's comfortable to sleep in and made getting in and out of bed so much easier. Have HELP, I had my mom, dad and husband with me, believe me you will need help for everything the first 3-4 days. The first 4 days are no joke mainly due to the side affects of anesthesia, but by day 5 I felt like I made the turn and have been backing off the major pain meds and the nausea is gone. Almost a year later, without a doubt, Dr. Decherd changed my life. After a 50 lb weight lost, and 30 lbs a couple years before that, my body was a wreck, an unrecoverable wreck. Dr. Decherd was recommended by my GP, and I can't thank her enough. With Dr. Decherd, you will find all the qualities you are looking for when considering plastic surgery. First, he is an ethical and decent human being. He is not there to upsale you, and get you to have surgery that really doesn't deliver the bang for the buck. Dr. Decherd is very careful to manage your expectations. I'm an older woman. He was honest about what my results would look like. I was not going to walk out of surgery looking like I was 24. But my results were better than I had hoped for. I looked the best I could imagine. Better than expected. Years of obesity were wiped away. I don't care what anyone says, I know, you cannot exercise away loose and saggy skin. I tried. I had a lot of procedures done. Dr. Decherd took time to evaluate me based on my age, general health, and giving me recovery information so we could come to a safe and mutual plan. His surgery center is in the same building as his office. It is immaculate, the staff well trained and caring, and I was well attended to. Thank goodness a teary-eyed late night google search led me to a review that absolutely paralleled my situation. I left my first consultation with Dr. Decherd feeling slightly apprehensive since my trust in plastic surgeons had been completely shattered, but his patience, understanding, and sincere concern for my well-being encouraged me to move forward with a Capsulorrhaphy and I couldn’t be more pleased! If you’ve been told you have to settle with less than stellar results due to “bottoming out” or “aging skin”, don’t believe it. He and his staff were very friendly and professional through the entire experience. I went once for my consultation and quickly tried on sizers. The whole following week I worried about if the size was what I wanted so I called to ask if I could try on the sizers again and they told me to just walk in anytime to try them on. I ultimately went for the max size in the range they recommended for me. 420cc high profile round silicone. My pre-op and post-op care were superb (my nurse was Denise love her!), Dr. Decherd and his anesthesiologist both talked to me before the procedure and I felt like I was in great hands the entire time (my perspective as a L&D/postpartum nurse with experience in the OR).Recovery was fine, I definitely took the pain meds I was given for the first 4 days then started to ween myself down. Those first few day my husband helped me do everything, even wash my hair lol. My boobs were so high and started off square looking, I knew it was a normal part of the process but it still was freaky. After a few months they started to drop and fluff, not at the same time though. It's almost been a year now and I am so in love with them. I got new bras and they sized me at a 32DD! And that's on coming from 32AA :) I'm so happy I did it! I have 2 kids and was really getting in the best shape of my life before the surgery but my boobs were shrunken from weight loss and deflated from the kids. Got the mommy makeover done on 2/28/19. Wasn’t sure what to expect. Seems like I was in and out, and results so far look awesome. Hardly any pain, just soreness. The incisions look perfect. I'm 62 y/o and have been obese more of my life than not. I finally got the weight off and worked out, but skin can't be exercised. Dr. D was recommended to be by my General Practioner. It has now been one week since my tummy tuck and breast lift. I feel great!Bullets:- Great and efficent front office staff. Trust me, that can make or break the experience.- Cost, deposits, and final pay date, well defined, with no surprises.- Dr D and Sarah, coordinator, spent a good deal of time with me, helping me decide was was good for me, and managing expectations. YOU CAN TRUST THEM.- Surgery suite is private and not in a hospital. Only reason I went ahead during the Covid times. I won't go to a public hospital.- Anesthesologist was so comforting. He explain everything and was patient with my questions. I don't know what they gave me in pre-op room, but it was good! I don't remember being wheeled into the operating suite. Stress less.- After surgery, they are just nice. They made sure my husband understood the instructions, and sent us home prepared.- Pain was shockingly mild. At most, I was uncomfortable. The binders are a [RS bleep], but they are critical for a great final result. I had adequate pain meds and didn't used them after the 3rd day.- I was allowed to shower 24 hours after!!!! And I did. Heaven.- I had /have two drains in my mons for the tummy tuck. They don't hurt, but they are uncomfortable and need to be emptied and the fluid tracked. It's not hard, just not something I wanted to do, but I do.The first time I took off my clothes and binders and looked in the mirror!- 24 hours after surgery I took my shower. I took off the binders/compression garments, held my drains in my hands, and stood in front of a full length mirror. I was stunned. Absolutely stunned. Even with the tape, stitches, a bit of bruising and drains, I looked amazing. My stomach was absolutely flat.....absolutely. My waist was smaller, and has gotten smaller each day. I had a rocken body.- I opted for a breast lift vs implant. I was a DD and think I'll be somewhere between a very full C or D. They are beautiful, natural looking. My aerolas were placed perfectly and I have feeling in them. Everything is swollen and will change, but the beginning start is just amazing.- Day after tomorrow I go do see if my drains can be taken out. That will be a banner day when I can. Making the outside match the inside - I am 38 with three children ages 20, 5, and 4. I'm having my tummy tuck with muscle repair and breast lift/reduction tomorrow at 7 am. I have nothing but lovely things to say about this practice! I came to Dr. Decherd in 2016 for a breast augmentation and lift and have been very happy with my results. I had a great experience from the start - he has a great staff to greet you at the front and the overall ambiance of the office is very welcoming. So happy with my breast lift /Augmentation! - I had a breast lift with an augmentation in November of 2004 and then got pregnant in January of 2005 which cause a very undesirable effect on my breasts. In 2012 I had the implants removed as part of a process to help improve the shape but did not get the results I wanted. I went back to my original PS from 2004 and he was able to do an amazing job with 390cc silicone implants and do a lift at the same time! My breasts look and feel amazing so far! I can hardly wait until the swelling goes down and I can start exercising again!!! Amazing!! More

I had an amazing experience - San Antonio, TX - Omg!!! My experience with Dr Decherd and his staff has been an amazing experience thus far. His staff is wonderful... the ladies are the ones who really help me solitify my decision to go with Dr. Decherd. I'm 5'9 at 32 yrs old recently lost 42lbs 195 down to 158 and breastfed for 22 months and now with a 4 year old and have always had saggy breast and it was even worst after breastfeeding. So I decided to have a breast lift and implants 339CC.I made my consultation appt and before I left his office I knew I found the right doctor and staff. They allowed me to visit multiple times to make sure felt comfortable with the CC of implants and Kelsey is amazing allowing me to email her back and forth all day long with questions.The day of the surgery the hospital staff was amazing, they made sure I was comfortable and kept me calm. They helped me with pain management afterwards and I must say I didn't experience anything over a 3 on a scale 1-10 for pain. I'm day 7 and still haven't experienced over a 3. Not sure if i have a high pain tolerance or Dr. Decherd is gentle during surgery or the medication he prescribe is the perfect. I was super scared of the healing and recovery process and it has been a breeze. I was up moving around 24 hours after surgery and back to work in 4 days.Heather called me from her personal cell phone the day of surgery to make sure I was ok and gave me extra information. On 4/28/16 I had and tummy tuck and breast augmentation. From the beginning Dr D and his staff was awesome. They took the time to answer every single question. Dr D took the time to explain everything and was very honest and up front about everything. I had absolutely NO complications after my procedure. I admire Dr D art skills as a physician. My incision for the tummy tuck was low and can be completely covered with low rise panties. My breast came out perfect size for my petite body. Today is 5/6 and I'm feeling great! I even went shopping today. No pain, and I'm pretty much walking straight up and not hunched over. Of course i still have swelling but I wear an abdominal binder to help with that but even though there's swelling I can fit in all my clothes:-). My waist line is nice and small, almost all stretch marks are gone. I paid extra for the exparel so all I had to take was Motrin to help with inflammation so I HIGHLY recommend this for tummy tuck. Before surgery I was able to talk with Dr D and the anesthesiologist to address any final concerns. I did not wake up shivering or in excruciating pain. I had been considering breast augmentation for quite a while, since I have friends who have always been happy with the look of their implants.Well, to say that I am "happy" with my results is a complete understatement!!!!! My experience with Dr. Decherd was very positive...I have never felt more confident in my life, thanks to him! It is no wonder why San Antonio critics continually praise him for his outstanding work!At our pre-op appointments, Dr. Decherd listened to every concern I had and described the details about the procedure. I was very impressed by his professionalism and knowledge. Also, his staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I felt so comfortable knowing that HE would be the surgeon operating on me! My main concern was the size of the implants…as a teenager, I have been self-conscious about my body. I wanted my breasts to be proportional to my body, not too big and not too small. I'm about 5'4" and 128 lbs. Dr. Decherd suggested the 371cc silicone moderate profile implants. This implant was definitely the right choice!I have always been very afraid of needles and surgery, but when I arrived to the hospital and spoke with Dr. Decherd and the anesthesiologist, I felt calm and relaxed. I knew I was in good hands! After surgery, Dr. Decherd followed up to make sure I was doing well and to advise me on any questions I had. I am very lucky to have such an easy recovery. I feel so good that I only was on pain killers for two days and ibuprofen for a week. I was back to normal activities only a few days post-op! I went to a few surgeons for consultations and felt rushed and still had unanswered questions. When I finally met Dr. Decherd I was impressed from the moment I walked through the door. There were not 20 people waiting to see him, his front office staff is very friendly and professional. His nurses are extremely knowledgeable, then I met him. He is the most, professional, down to earth, physician I have ever met. He explained everything in great detail for my TT & augmentation. He even explained things to where I had a full understanding. I had planned to talk to several doctors but from my first contact with his office, I felt I had found the right plastic surgeon for me. 5' 9" 40 Yo with Under Muscle Silicon (Empty 38C to Full 38DDD) + Thigh Liposuction - He, his facility, and staff were all great! Very friendly, I was always seen promptly, if I called with a question it was quickly answered. they let me try on different sizes. What also really helped in my decision making was the imaging system he has on site. Given the risk, expense, long term commitment to the whole process, I was having difficulty visualizing the breast aug and it was so hard to make a choice that way. Best Thing I Could Have Done! - I have four children and three of them were C-sections. After a Hysterectomy.. I had a lot of scar tissue built up. I could see the lump of scar tissue through my clothes. I would also get so bloated that I would look six months pregnant because of all of the extra skin. Dr. Decherd and all his staff made my decision to get a breast augmentation an easy one. I had visited another doctor who had recommended I do a lift along with my augmentation which I thought was ridiculous and Dr. Decherd agreed. He did not try to get me to do more. Professional, Caring, Well Informed! - Where do I begin!!! I had scheduled two consultations in San Antonio, driving in from Corpus Christi. With my initial consult with the first Dr. I felt horrible. The nurse was cold and when I tried to ask her a question, she looked at me like ... you dare ask ME a question? Then the Dr. came in...Ughh. Horrible. Again, like the nurse... cold, unfriendly and within 2 minutes had decided what I needed. By the time he left... once I had recovered a bit from the shock of how I had been treated, I thought to ask about size, revision and exactly what his plan would entail. By the time I came out no one was around except the scheduler and before I knew it, I was scheduled and paying $200 for a surgery in which I was still very uninformed of! Finally had the chance to catch the doctor. When I asked him about the details, he like the nurse answered me like - I dare ask??? WOW.... I left thinking.. I don't know that I want to go through with this. As I slept on my decision, I started thinking of how my care could potentially be like in the event something did not go well. By the next day, Dr. Decherd's office called to confirm my consultation. I said that I would have to cancel because I had committed to this other office.Can I just say, what happened next was such a BLESSING!!!Dr. Decherd's consultant, Courtney called me personally and discussed what exactly to expect from my consultation. This included how they would handle my old implants- and if I chose to deflate the implants, that they could do so- this would allow me the ability to go through sizing and utilizing the Vector imaging to determine how and what and all of the questions I could potentially have prior to surgery answered!!! Not only that but she discussed the procedure and asked me if I had any questions? I immediately felt re-assured, and the anxiety I was having about the other consultation and scheduled procedure left...They gave me my dignity and the respect of knowing what to expect and that I had the ability to make decisions about my body and procedure. Not to mention the fact that I was able to make a well informed decision! Priceless!!!!!Once I came to the consultation, it only proved to be better than I could have hoped! The team that Dr. Decherd has surrounding him are professional and so LOVEABLE!!! There is such a warm and friendly reception beginning with Melissa when coming into the office. Did I mention how INCREDIBLE the Nurse, Heather is? Courtney, the Patient Coordinator I have to say â??THANK YOUâ?, because if it werenâ??t for you and your evident care for the patient, I would have cancelled my consultation and I shudder to think of what could have been! As for Dr. Decherd... He is THE BEST!!!! He is outgoing, extremely knowledgeable and takes the time to explain and actively listens to what you are saying! I love my tummy tuck and implants. Dr Decherd's staff was awesome! I was really nervous when I first came to my appointment but ended up actually having a good time. I brought my friend with me and we both had so many questions! My friend wants a to get her breasts lifted. I just wanted to go bigger! I was going to go with the adjustable ones, but didnt realize that i would end up with saline. Amazing experience - I am very pleased to say that I had breast augmentation and liposuction done by Dr. Decherd and it is hands down the best thing that I have ever done! I had breast implants and a tummy tuck with Dr. Decherd 6 weeks ago and it was a wonderful experience. The office staff is so sweet, and Dr. Decherd is caring and so personable.
