Hi. I'm Dr. Michael Decherd. I'm a board-certified plastic surgeon practicing at San Antonio, Texas, and I just like to tell you a little bit about my philosophy of how I practice plastic surgery. When a woman comes to me, my philosophy is this. I want to give you the education and options about what's going to happen. I talk to some patients and they've been to some other doctors and sometimes, the doctor says in so many words, "Here's my plan. Take it or leave it." Well, I'd rather give you some options and maybe we can do it one way or maybe we can do it another way and there's pros and cons to both sides, but when I take a person to surgery, I feel like they know exactly what the plan is and I'm doing my best to implement that plan, but I'd rather visit and have a high educational side to our consultation so that you know exactly what's going to happen. I feel like that's a better way to get satisfied patients. If I can answer any questions about this for you, please let me know.
