At age 4 and then again at age 54, I had tumors removed from the right side of my neck. I was blessed the surgeries didn't leave my face paralyzed but left an ugly scar. What was worse was the turkey neck (excess droopy skin) that I've lived with all my life. My ear, nose, throat doctor said he knew the perfect doctor for me who had previously been an E-N-T doctor, now a plastic surgeon, that would know the risks involved to remove the excess skin. That plastic surgeon was Michael E Decherd, MD. At age 73 I went to Dr Decherd and immediately trusted him to the fullest. He performed a Z-Plasty, neck lift. I was so amazed that my neck had been transformed into a normal neck. But Dr Decherd went the extra mile and tweaked it. Second surgery I was awake and so grateful I had the experience. Awesome music was playing, another doctor was observing. They conversed about interesting topics. I found myself smiling and wanting to laugh and join the conversations! Dr Decherd even broke into song!! The nurses were the best calling me a Rock Star (I've always wanted to be a Rock Star)! We could've been on Grey's Anatomy! Bottom line is that Dr Decherd is selfless, humble, genuine, trustworthy and an extraordinary surgeon. He didn't have to go the extra mile, but he did. He cared. He changed my life forever. I've been working with him for almost 2 years now and it's been ups and downs with scar revisions, etc. However Dr. Decherd and his staff have always been there for me and helped me get through it all. I had my procedure the end of May. My whole experience was amazing. The staff is very sweet and attentive anything I needed, they were ready and available to help me with or accommodate to. The surgery went well and I was very pleased with my results. 🤗 I am 41 and I must say I feel and look like I’ve erased years off myself. 🤔 Did I mention that the office is super luxurious with amazing decor and very high tech, but the absolute best part is the snacks; 🍬candy and chips! Sorry I always get distracted with SNACKS 😂. Moving on to the POINT. Dr. Dechard 👨‍⚕️ was out of this 🌎 world. He made me feel comfortable and that is super important to me. I visited 2 other doctors before him but his rapport with me is why I made my decision to chose him. I guess it also helped that when I looked up best plastic surgeons, his name popped up and he had a ton of stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and GRRRRRRRREAT 🐅 comments on Google. I saw over eight local plastic surgeons in san antonio and i found Dr. Decherd prices and professionalism won above all the Drs i saw. I did a lot of research before choosing and I have no regrets at all choosing Dr. Decherd. Two of my friends i recommended him to also had excellent outcomes. They both went to Dr Decherd on my recommendation and came out with excellent outcomes. One had a facelift and she experienced some medical complications but Dr Decherd and his staff stepped in and took immediate care of her. My friend had no issues using the cosmetic insurance Dr Decherd offers all his patients to cover the $costs for the medical complications that came up. I personally didn't have to use that cosmetic insurance but i recommend everyone get it. I think its called CosmetAssure. My other friend had a breast augmentation and her work looks amazing. I'm so blessed i found Dr. Decherd. I had a full mommy makeover, upper arm lipo, and back lift. I've been working with him for almost 2 years now and it's been ups and downs with scar revisions, etc. However Dr. Decherd and his staff have always been there for me and helped me get through it all. love my doctor! - San Antonio, TX - I am extremely pleased with my results! I am 53 years old, but was looking like I was in my 60's. I had smoked for 40 years and had also been under a great deal of stress for most of my married life (33 years). My goal was to get rid of the jowls and to look less haggered. Dr. Michael Decherd at the San Antonio Plastic Surgery Institute did a facelift, necklift, and upper and lower bleph. I look fabulous and I feel fabulous! I feel like he gave me all of my missing time back. His bedside manner is wonderful and the hospital was great, as well. I was realistic about my goals and didn't expect to look 25-I just wanted to look my age. And I wanted people to stop telling me I looked tired all the time. So glad I went for it! Now I am just focusing on my skincare. Still have some healing to do on the inside, but it comes with time. More

I Look Like I Used to - 10 to 12 Years Ago - San Antonio, TX - My daughter in law and my son have both used Dr. Decherd in the past. I reviewed most doctors websites in my area, and chose him based on his videos and results. It was only later than I found out he was the same doctor my son and daughter-in-law used. I had a double procedure, facelift and tummy tuck and paid a little over 15,000. Don't know how much procedures would have been individually. My doctor, Michael Decherd was so nice. What I really appreciated was how LONG he took with my initial consult. He seemed to know exactly what I wanted, and he achieved that. Also, his nurse Heather is a living doll. Face and Brow Lift - San Antonio, TX - I looked in several doctors even look down in Mexico but once I talked to Dr. Decherd, I was sold. He seemed to really listen and spent a long time with me helping me chose the right surgery for me. His price was reasonable so I went for it. I am only on day 4, so still lots of swelling.
